As in all areas of IT, it's all about doing more with less. With that in mind, we cover server virtualization a technology that continue to emerge as a key data center capability, enabling IT to split one physical server into multiple isolated virtual environments. The virtual environments are sometimes called virtual private servers, but they are also known as partitions, guests, instances, containers or emulations.
